EC Sweetheart Roland Felis Audax: “Photographed shortly after winning Overall Best Forest Cat at the 2005 Forest Cat Special Show.”	Roland was our second import from the cattery of Minna & Kjeld Krogh in Denmark and he arrived with us in 1999. Roland is the son of Marimekko Felis Audax DM and Skogkatt of the Year 1999, EC August Strindberg Felis Jubatus. Roly is a great example of the breed, with large boning, straight profile, well set ears, excellent coat texture and a magnificent expression. He also has a wonderful, gentle temperament which he passes on to all his kittens. He purrs non-stop and has a lovely 'chirp' which greets any visitor to our house. Roland has sired several litters and his kittens have done well on the show bench, including his son Kjærligkatt Talen who was Overall Best NFO at the Viking Cat Club's NFO special in 2003. Roland outdid this though by winning the same title himself in 2005 at 7 years old. Roland is due to retire in 2006 and will be joining our happy band of neuters.
